Development Series for Distance Equestrians
Need hands-on experience to get ready for the starting line in 2023? Here is your chance. The Development Series will cover two fundamental areas our equestrians need help with: presenting the horse to the vet at events AND dressage conditioning exercises in the arena.

About the Event
Feedback from last season taught us that our new members wished they knew more about presenting their horse to the vet at events. And that new recruits are curious about preparing for distance sports, especially when they can't ride on trails every day. Our new solution is: the Development Series!
We will spend the 2nd Saturday of each month doing lecture and hands-on practice for everything that happens at the vet check. Then we'll see 4 riders school in the arena using dressage conditioning exercises tailored for distance horses. You'll also have access to homework to go practice with your own horse and a discussion group. There will be lots of opportunity for Q&A in person and online. Classroom instruction provided by Fox Valley Distance Equestrian Team our own member dressage expert, Kerstin McNeish.
