Get Out - Ride or Run

A fun little series designed to get you out. Out of the arena. Out of the gym. Out there and doing your choice - riding or running - at Waupaca County Forest. These are designed to be short and sweet on purpose, because it's the time of year when horses need rest. But also when shorter days make us crave the great outdoors. Enjoy your ride / run and meet back at the parking lot at noon for a hot drink, BYO lunch and chair!

What can you practice related to distance equestrian sports on the sandy, short looped trails there at this time of year:

• riding alone
• navigating (no trail signage - but we promise you won't get lost lol)
• passing riders and runners
• riding in the rain
• using a rump rug or a cooler
• cold weather horse & human management

Weather dependent of course, and avoiding the deer gun hunting season. Alternating Saturdays & Sundays.
