Overnight Camping & Conditioning Practice

Practice camping at Ukarydee Horse Camp with your horse and do some conditioning rides on the Castle Rock Trails. This is the location for two endurance rides: Louise Reidel Memorial Ride on August 12-14; and Iron Oak on October 8-9. If you want to get to the starting line for the first time at one of these events in Fall 2022, come and practice riding the trails and camping at the same location. We will travel some of the same trails used for both of these rides, show you where the vet check area usually is and review what to expect when going through it.

Camping Reservations: Make your own overnight camping reservation at https://horsecampukarydee.com/. Join us for 1 night or 2. Campground features horse corrals, water and electricity.

Day Riding: Don't want to camp overnight? Join us for the day to enjoy the trails. Park @ Castle Rock Trails lot (free). Make sure that you let us know when you plan to arrive so we can meet you at the parking lot trail head.

Weather: Rain or shine, we will ride; this location typically tolerates precipitation very well.

Bugs: Yes, they will be there. Be prepared to share the woods with them.
