About the Event
FVDET presents a special opportunity for equestrians looking for a new perspective on the physicality of being a horseback rider. This session is designed to optimize human performance for riders. If you are interested in better understanding how your human factors influence your horse's performance, then this session is for you. Human factors you might bring to this session to address include: asymmetry, pain, joint replacements, balance issues, injury, post-partum, changes in mobility/flexibility, longevity and efficiency gains, etc. Personalized anatomical focus will be carried over into riding instruction for your specific goals and your horse.Â
CLINICIAN - Dr. ALLIE BAIER
Allie Baier is a Doctor of Physical Therapy trained as a movement specialist; skilled at watching all types of movement, from daily life to recreational athletes. Growing up in Milwaukee, long before becoming a Physical Therapist, Allie developed partnerships with horses as a rider herself. She combines two passions into one experience for equestrians looking to gain a new perspective on their own athleticism. Integrating physical therapy assessment with riding makes an impact that opens up your awarness of details rarely addressed in traditional instruction.
