Mock ride featuring pre and post-ride vetting, 6-8 miles of riding, in small groups of 2-4. Experience the excitement and satisfaction of distance riding. Riders of all ages, and horses of all breeds are welcome. Get ready for a summer of adventure! Season starts soon!

About the Event
What riders can expect from the Mock Ride:
- Short riders’ meeting, pre-ride
- Vetting of horse pre- and post-ride
- 6-8-mile trail total
- Small groups on trail (2-4), with experienced groupleaders (opportunity to ask questions and get answers)
- Experience with pacing and reading trail markings
- Scoring using the UMECRA Competitive Trail score sheet
- Snacks and friendly conversation
- Rider Requirements:
- 2 copies of negative Coggins to be left with ride management
- Signed waiver for Kettle Moraine Ranch and UMECRA
- Helmets required to ride
- Trail pass ($5 daily) – if you intend to ride often, you could buy a yearly trail pass ($25) andpark sticker ($28) at the DNR
