Spring Driving Mileage Derby

I did it ! Finally hitched Allen for first time this season. We took a leisure walk around my boarding barn facility (can house 180 horses). He did great. As a reward I took him to the hayfield inside the old Thoroughbred race-training track & Allen was off to the races. It was warm so only worked 30 min. Results: 2.03 mi / 14mph trot / 11 mph canter. He has waaaay more go than whoa ! He cantered on his own - I've owned this horse for 12 yrs & this is first time cantering.
